Fitness YogaA Fitness yoga class uses traditional Hatha yoga poses, in the format of a flowing workout, to make you relax and sweat at the same time. There's no chanting, no Sanskrit, it's not about religion. The goal of fitness yoga is the increased strength and stamina you expect from a good workout and the inner peace and tranquility that yoga is famous for. My yoga sessions are suitable for people at any fitness level. Wear comfortable clothing that doesn't restrict your movements. Bring your mat, your water bottle, your towel, and a smile. Yoga makes an excellent team building/stress relief activity for adults and children. Add some relaxation to your next meeting or party. Some CautionsA primary rule in yoga is do no harm. Always make sure your instructor is aware of any special conditions you may have that would affect your practice. For example if you have joint problems that would require modifications in certain asanas or untreated high blood pressure that would restrict your practice of inverted poses. You should wait at least three hours after a full meal before participating in a yoga class. A little fruit or juice about an hour before class is fine, but nothing heavy. Reading Material on Yoga
